Hodgepodge of Cuteness

I try to be modest about how cute I think Ella Rose is...usually. But I just realized, this is my (our) blog, so I don't have to be modest here, right?? Cause I think Ella Rose is just the cutest thing I've ever seen. She is even cuter these days because she is doing tricks on demand. Like, "clap" - and she does it with a smile and a giggle. Or "commmme here" and she falls on her belly and wiggles over. Uh, seriously. That's cute. Plus, look at 'er!

My Punkin in the Punkin Patch

Today we went to the pumpkin patch with our friends. It was a great excuse for me to take lots of pictures of Ella Rose...the cutest punkin in the punkin patch.










Ella Rose isn't gonna be a hat girl, it seems.

Sun & Soccer

Ella Rose went to Connor's soccer game on Saturday for the first time. It was a beautiful day outside, and we were with some of her favorite people!


Ella Rose loves her Aunt Kiki & Uncle I-an.


(You can't tell that Uncle I-an is smitten with her, can you?? ;)


...She also loves Chick-fil-a sandwiches (or the wrappers, at least).


And then there's Dandad. She LOVES her dandad.


The superstar of the day - Connor. He played goalie for a bit and did a fantastic job!

This just ain't right...

(1st order of business...
No more talking from Ella Rose's perspective. I need to be able to freely talk about my darling, and I can't easily do it speaking from her point of view.)

Okay, so I walked into the kitchen yesterday and this is what I found... A baby...on the counter...in the candy jar. It just. ain't. right.

And lovin' every minute of it.

Finally.

I am 8 months and 3 weeks old and I have just now decided to start sitting up. Now, I have been able to sit up for a while, but have just refused...because afterall, I can't go places when I am sitting still.






P.S. I still have crazy hair.
